1) Usage:
These tubes are used to extract platelet-rich plasma (PRP) only. Immediately after blood collection, invert the tube gently for 3-4 times, and centrifuge the sample after standing for 15-20 minutes.
2) Limitations:
These tubes are not suitable for special population with Hematocrit (HCT) <25% or >55%. For people with HCT> 55%, please adjust the volume of blood draw according to the following formula: Anticoagulant(mL)=[100-HCT(%)] x Blood Volume(mL)×0.00185.
